HBCU NY Classic

Our CSO, Mr. Andrew Baker, is also the Co-Founder of the HBCU NY Football Classic, which takes place annually at MetLife Stadium. This year's game will be on September 14, 2024. A portion of the proceeds from the game and HBCU Week NYC ancillary events will go to assist with paying for student and band members' education from the participating schools.

HBCU Tour

We will be organizing an HBCU Classic Tour to all 107 HBCU schools to provide internship and job opportunities to HBCU students. Our goal is to hire 100 graduates from each school to reach our goal of creating 40,000 new jobs for our economy by 2030.

Farm to Table

The days of eating Ramen Noodles and peanut butter and jelly are not far behind. At TABF, we believe that quality education starts with getting access to quality food. We are focused on connecting HBCU students directly from our foundation farm foods. We will be hiring from the surrounding community and we will be providing scholarships to HBCU Students who want to major in Agriculture & Clean Energy Technology.

Affordable Housing

The Andrew Baker Foundation is dedicated to creating lasting solutions for veterans in our community facing difficult circumstances. Our job development center will provide tools and opportunities for veterans to succeed. We strive to reduce homelessness and poverty in Georgia through affordable housing and job development resources.

Kids STEAM Program

TABF will collaborate with ESPOIR to provide S.T.E.A.M. services for underprivileged kids in the Westbury, NY community. This collaboration will help improve the quality of education for over 100+ kids. The collaboration will also create paid internships for HBCU students and summer work for high school students. In addition, TABF will be bringing students from all five (5) boroughs, New Jersey, and Connecticut to attend the HBCU NY Football Classic.

Clean Neighbor

Each month we will be collaborating with organizations to clean up urban neighborhoods. Cleaner neighborhoods mean better air quality, which leads to better health, which leads to businesses coming to the area which leads to more job opportunities.

Our six (6) Humanitarian Projects will start in five (5) states for Phase 1 of our Humanitarian Initiative

(New York, Georgia, Florida Indiana, & Texas)

The funding needed in this deck pertains

only to projects in New York State

Integrated Sustainability

All aspects of human life revolve around socio-economic principles that are made into local and national laws that govern the individual and group collective. It is necessary to redress imbalance in all areas where local and national practices have disempowered the individual and/or group collective.
Recognition of media as both a potential force for justice and a tool for perpetuating injustice.

The importance of balanced representation and equity in media content.
Introduction of The International Reggae Train TV show as a platform for promoting cultural diversity, creativity, and social awareness.

Integration of various elements such as music, fashion, food, and social commentary to engage audiences and promote positive societal values.

Efforts to address food security issues through partnerships with organizations like the National Black Farmers Association (NBFA) and initiatives supporting organic farming and local agriculture.

Creation of job opportunities in agriculture, education, entertainment, and housing sectors to stimulate economic growth and address societal challenges.

Collaboration with foundations and educational institutions to support workforce development and promote social justice initiatives.
Emphasis on sustainability, climate action, and community engagement as core principles guiding the organization's activities.
